Elementary School Camps
Rising 2nd–5th Grade: Give your child the gift of laughter and learning this summer! Our Elementary Improv Camp in Richmond is designed for rising 2nd–5th graders who love to play, imagine, and express themselves. Through improv games and team-based activities, young campers build confidence, communication skills, and creativity — all while having a blast with new friends.

Middle School Camps
Rising 6th–8th Grade: Perfect for rising 6th–8th graders ready to think on their feet! Our Middle School Improv Camp helps tweens and early teens develop quick thinking, stage presence, and collaboration through performance-based games and storytelling. Whether your child is new to improv or already a natural, they’ll gain skills they can use onstage and off and perform in a live ComedySportz® showcase at week’s end!

Looking for a summer experience that’s creative, fun, and just a little bit wild? Our Middle School Improv Camp is the perfect place for rising 6th–8th graders to explore their creativity, sharpen their communication skills, and build lasting confidence — all through the power of improv. Led by professional improvisers, campers dive into fast-paced games, group scenes, and character-driven storytelling that encourage collaboration, risk-taking, and quick thinking. MEET OUR CAMP COUNSELORS!
Kelly has been a loyal fan of CSz since she was five years old. She joined our High School League before graduating into the Major League back in 2011. She is a member of our Major League Teaching Team and has spent several years as one the head coaches for our year-round ComedySportz Middle School League. She is a Lead Teacher at Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School, is a professional nanny, and can do a great British accent.


Improv has been an obsession for James for over two decades in a variety of troupes and through variety of improv styles as a performer, teacher and director. James is the founder of the business-focused training "Ha-Ha to A-ha!" and is a CSz Worldwide certified trainer. His improv background has helped him immensely in two other arenas of his life off-stage: at work as a nonprofit fundraiser and at home with his wife Rachel and his sons Embry and Turner.
