A Tale of Sweet T
Grab your sweet tea and your favorite rocking chair as we tell you the tale of the ComedySportz® Sweet T Tourney. Here at CSz Richmond, hospitality has always been our priority. We relish having visitors come and grace our playing field with their talents. With CSz Worldwide adding cities at a record pace, we wanted to find a way to bring more of these players from across the country to our hometown.
One summer day back in Summer 2013, one of our loyal Richmond players invited CSz DC down to play. Unbeknownst to that player, another Richmond player invited folks down from CSz Buffalo! Well, the team made a choice to invite every CSz team along the East Coast, and our first regional tournament was born! We welcomed players from Richmond, DC, Buffalo, and Philadelphia. We had so much fun hosting (and laughing) that we made this an annual summer event! We originally called it the Tournament of Northern Aggression (TNA for short), but we have updated the name this year to something shorter and SWEETer; The Sweet T Tourney!

Our annual tradition continues this summer, as we have players from Buffalo, DC, Philly, Boston, and Indianapolis heading to town for the tourney! Friday and Saturday night they will be gracing the field with their talents and, representing their cities.
Each year we treat our guests to unique Richmond highlights. From Belle Isle to tubing down the James River, local brewery tours, laser tag, and even testing out the new Escape Room - we show them the fun and unique side of Richmond. Taking pride in our city and being able to give our guests the grand tour is something we truly love.

Friday, July 27th 8pm and 10:15pm, and Saturday, July 28th 7pm and 9:30pm, come out to watch matches filled with professional ComedySportz® players from Richmond and across the country!
